Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) condemned the recent killings of two doctors in Balochistan.
The PIMA members in a joint statement regretted that the country lost two specialised doctors serving in one of the least developed parts of the country experiencing a dearth of qualified medical professionals. Sympathising with the bereaved families of Dr. Abdul Hamid Bangalzai and Dr. Dawood Aziz PIMA urged the authorities to try the culprits in the court of law. The PIMA statement said that “ending human lives through violent means, be that of the doctors or any other human being, is unacceptable under all conditions. We demand immediate judicial enquiry to ascertain the facts leading to the murders of qualified professionals as well as people in general”.
