Attack on Malala widely condemned

People from different segments of life including representatives of civil society, political and religious parties have strongly condemned cowardly attack on Malala Yousafzai and prayed for her early recovery.
They hailed the timely action of the government by providing prompt medical treatment to Malala Yousafzai who was engaged in promotion of education in Swat.
Tanzeem Shama-e-Pakistan President Abid Ali Sikandari, Hyderabad JUP President Hussain Bux Hussaini, Leader of Jamiyet Ahl-e-Sunnah Qari Muhammad Ahmad Ali, President Awami National Party Hyderabad Aurangaizb Khan Yousufzaie, Rev. Daniel Fiaz, Senior Vicar, Diocese of Hyderabad, Church of Pakistan, Chairman Minority Rights Commission Pakistan , M. Parkash and other civil society members in their statements expressed solidarity with Malala Yousafzai and her family and hoped that she will come out of this trial soon.
They also appreciated the urgency and attention Malala received from the government and the medical team treating her.
They also paid glowing tribute to the services of Malala Yousafzai for the promotion of peace and education in Swat.
Prayer held for Malala’s health: The Himmat Na Haar Youth Organisation NGO, staged a candle-lit vigil at Qasimabad in which people prayed for early recovery of Malala Yousufzai here on Friday. People from all walks of life participated in the ceremony and condemned the attack on Malala. The participants paid tribute to Malala as a symbol of peace and knowledge.
