The Supreme Court (SC) issued an interim order in Balochistan law and order situation case, saying the court is not being offered complete cooperation during the hearing.
It should be mentioned that the case was being heard for the last several days. The court, issuing the order today, remanded the case regarding the missing persons to Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Balochistan police.
Reading out the short order, the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry directed the provincial government to take up measures to improve the law and order situation in the province, adding the provincial government failed to absolutely bringing under control the situation regarding human rights violations in the province.
Mutilated bodies are being found every other day but those responsible for these incidents could not be identified as yet, the order said.
The court in interim order, directed action against the those who issued corridors, adding no spy agency will not issue corridors now and warned if such corridors were afforded, then provincial government will be authorized to take action.
The interim order said every order by Balochistan High Court (BHC) should be put in force. The SC’s order says the FC is accused of involvement in missing persons case.
The unemployed youths of the province should be provided with jobs, the court said in its order.
The bench will resume the hearing on October 31.
