Samsung, the leading mobile dealer in Ghana, has introduced its latest range of Galaxy smart phones onto the market. The Galaxy Note II, the first “Phablet” smart phone, with features of both a phone and tablet, comes with a 5.5 inch screen which is the best display screen Samsung has ever produced.
At a media launch in Accra, Andy Akpebu, Technical Support for Hand Held Phones (HHP), Samsung, explained that the Galaxy Note II, which is an improvement over the Galaxy Note I comes with a much longer and thinker stylus pen (S Pen) which provides a great option for users who find typing on glass to be limiting.
He stated that the ‘Air View’ feature allows the user to see previews of emails or calendar appointments, stressing that if the S Pen is hovered over an item, it can be kept on the screen while the user does something else on the phone.
Jaspreet Singh, Business Head for HHP at Samsung, explained that “we aspire to create new technologies and innovative products that inspire the world while delivering new value to enhance the lives of our customers. We strive to continuously fulfill our brand promise of inspiring the world and creating the future through our commitment to bring new and meaningful innovations to the doorsteps of our customers.”
He noted that “Galaxy Note II comes with the newest Android 4.1.1 version with the excellent Google voice natural language voice recognition. “We also give you extra templates to choose from in the S Note application. Handwriting is significantly improved and you can now handwrite in emails, messages, or simply use it to convert the handwritten words to text automatically.” Mr. Singh indicated that “there is so much that we have added on which means the user’s life is becoming easier and better day in and day out.” The phone is available in all Samsung shops across the country and comes with a free slip cover and a free chief hero phone on early purchase.
