Roots organises launch of Chinese text book

Roots Chinese Language Department (RCLD) in partnership with Pakistan-China Institute, CRI Roots Confucius Classroom and Paramount Publishing, on Thursday, organized a launch ceremony of the book ‘Chinese made Easy’.
The book is written by Hasan Javed, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Singapore.
The chief guest Dr. Maria Sultan, Director General of South Asian Strategic Institute, Ambassador Akram Zaki, Ambassador Riaz Hussain Khokhar, Ambassador Khalid Mehmood, Ambassador Tariq Usman Hayder and Zhang Yingbao, Cultural Counsellor Chinese Embassy, graced the occasion with their presence and each distinguished speaker spoke on the importance and significance of the book’s uniqueness, as it is authored to meet early learning needs for Chinese language learners.
Javed, the author of the book, while attending the launch ceremony, thanked the organisers and said that the purpose and vision of his book was to provide a pioneering and interesting medium to learn Chinese for students across the world.
The book “Chinese made Easy” is a bridge to connect the people of Pakistan and China in a stronger bond of friendship and provide guidance to readers in learning fundamental Chinese for everyday use. Commonly used Chinese words, sentences, pronunciation and accent in Chinese, Urdu and English are also included in the book and will prove to be especially beneficial for people travelling to China.
