Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) is a party of laborers and workers and has always devised policies to protect their interests.
He was talking to a delegation of employees union of Pakistan Television here on Friday.
The Information Minister said it is the PPP government that regularized the jobs of contract employees to give them a better and secure future. He said the government inherited complex problems when it assumed the office‚ but it has been working diligently and with dedication to overcome these.
Qamar Zaman Kaira said overseas Pakistanis are an asset for the country and the government will do everything possible to resolve their problems.
