The Sindh Bus Owners Association (SBOA) on Tuesday gave a 10-day ultimatum to the Sindh Transport Authority to make an upward revision in the transport fares which should commensurate with the regular increases in the fuel prices.
The association’s chairman Mir Afzal Khan warned, while presiding over a meeting, that the transporters would take recourse to a wheel jam strike across the province if their demand was not accepted.
He said that despite weekly augmentation of the fuel prices the transport fares were not being raised.
