Shoaib Suddle Commission, which is probing the Dr Arsalan Iftikhar case, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court on Tuesday for seeking more time.
The Commission in its plea prayed the court that Malik Riaz, who accused Dr Arsalan of financial impropriety, has not appeared before the commission and FBR and other related departments have not provided the commission the required record.
The services of experts for the scrutiny of the record have not been hired yet, the Commission maintained.
The court had granted 30-day time period to the commission for completing the probe in Dr Arsalan Iftikhar case which ended on October 8.
