ANF seizes 262 kgs charas, other narcotics and weapons in Taftan


The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF), on Monday, seized a large quantity of drugs, arms and ammunition in Taftan District, Chaghi, near the Iranian border in Balochistan. Working on a tip off, the ANF raided a location in Taftan and recovered 262 kilograms of charas, 30 kg opium, 30 kg sheesha, three RPG-7s along with 12 shells and 14 fuses, four AK-47s, a 12-bore riffle and 2517 bullets. No arrests were made as the drugs and ammunition had been dumped in a deserted hut.
A case has been registered against the unknown drug.
