Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) commissioned Durrani Institute of Computer Technology (DICT) at its campus. DICT was funded by Nashrah Foundation and SSUET Chancellor, Z.A. Nizami, inaugurated the facility. The chancellor said that SSUET had emerged as a modern educational technology hub contributing significantly to both knowledge acquisition and knowledge creation.
