Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is highly serious over the law and order issue during the upcoming general elections and the proposals in this connection are under consideration.
The commission is fully geared up to hold the general elections and efforts are being made to increase the number of polling stations in the next elections, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (Retd) Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim told media persons following his visit to the Sindh Election Commission.
The CEC Ebrahim said some more time is required before the electronic voting system is put in place, advising the people to use their right to vote as the correct use of vote will determine the future of the nation.
“People should give their vote to qualified people for good governance,” he asserted.
A decision on the issue of dual nationality will be made on Tuesday meeting, he added.
