Under the auspices of Sarwari Jamaat with regards to safeguarding the sanctity of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) against blasphemy, a peaceful protest rally was conducted. The participants, who showed up in large numbers, involved people from all walks of life and a wide gamut of schools of thought. The protestors demonstrated in front of Bagbanpura to ShalamarBagh, with placards and banners on display that showcased slogans and verses extolling the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The demonstrators presented their discontent vociferously, and raucously chanted slogans.
