Rasheed says current govt ‘worst ever’

The Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Saturday said that the current tenure of the government has been the worst and most corrupt period in the history of Pakistani politics. Talking to media while expressing condolence with Asma Jahangir over the demise of his mother, he claimed that in the upcoming elections, the allied partners of PPP would see the end of their tenure in power. Furthermore, he expressed the view that Imran Khan should take place his peace march under the limits of the Constitution. He said that Tehreek e Taliban has its own stance, but Khan was holding a token protest in the tribal region, not the drone attacks. Rasheed further said that PTI peace march should end and added that Khan should also march to the President’s House. Answering a question regarding the letter to Swiss officials, the AML chief stated that current prime minister would have to go home unless the letter was written as soon as possible.
