Opposition leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Saturday termed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Waziristan peace march as nothing but political jugglery.
In a statement issued here the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader alleged that former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Gen Shuja Pasha was pulling the strings of PTI’s “tsunami”.
He said the unmanned spy planes were targeting North Waziristan but Imran Khan was going South to everyone’s astonishment. “It baffles me as to what Imran Khan is up to. It appears as if he was afraid of going to the real warzone,” the PML-N leader said.
He said it was like attempting an ambitious march towards New Delhi with all the hoopla and losing all the steam at Wagah Border.
Nisar said it should not be forgotten that Imran initially planned a peace march to North Waziristan but changed his mind afterwards.
“The nation was languishing under the deadly scourges of skyrocketing inflation, gas/power load shedding, and injustice, but tsunami league was busy playing tricks on it,” he said.
He said instead of fooling the nation, Imran Khan should come up with a solution.
