The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) is in danger of losing millions of rupees due to the appointment of inexperienced pharmacists. Sources said the junior druggists, whose work experience was not more than a year, had been appointed at two or three mega medical stores of PIMS. The standing committee for Capital Administration and Development Division had directed the PIMS administration to take action against the hiring of junior pharmacists but to no avail. Before the recent appointments in PIMS, senior and experienced pharmacists served at the medical stores. Now the charge had been given to inept druggists, the sources added.
