Many positions have fallen vacant after the disqualification of dual nationality holders from the by-elections. The Election Commission (EC) has announced that by-elections in eight constituencies‚ which fell vacant after the disqualification of dual nationality holders‚ would be held on the 17th of next month. According to the schedule‚ the candidates could submit nomination papers on Monday and Tuesday. The final list of candidates would be issued on the 20th of this month. The by-elections would be held on three national and five provincial assembly seats.
