The Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Rafat Khan was elected as member Sindh Assembly in place of Nadia Gabol, whose seat was vacated after the dual nationality court verdict. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday announced through a notification that Rafat had been elected member Sindh Assembly on the women’s reserved seats, following the disqualification of dual national Gabol in accordance with the Supreme Court verdict.
