ANP leader Haji Adeel has said that the government contacted his party for bringing in constitutional amendment regarding dual nationality, however, he added that his party did not support the government’s stance.
Talking to a private TV channel Saturday, Haji Adeel said that the prime minister had discussed the issue of dual nationality with the ANP leadership on a breakfast table.
He said that the party leadership had conveyed the message to the prime minister and the president that their party would not accept any parliamentarian or minister holding dual nationality.
The ANP leader further said that the party had demanded the president to give right of vote to the overseas Pakistanis.
