Work on the Pir Wadhai underpass and fly over projects will start from October 8.
The estimated cost of the project has been sent to the chief engineer of the Punjab High Way Department for approval. The project will cost Rs 1,447 million and will be completed in several phases. The fly over and underpass will be constructed separately. These projects will be completed within 4 months.
Digging on piles for the Pir Wadhai More project will start from October 8. The test piles for the project have already been completed.
The SE Highway has directed the project contractor to arrange for sprinkling of water by two or three tractors to pre-empt the spread of dust allergies, and to protect residents of the area from respiratory diseases.
