Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that he holds only Pakistani nationality and would prove it in the Supreme Court.
Talking to media persons in Berlin, Germany, Shahbaz Sharif said though he traveled and stayed in various foreign countries but he does not possess any dual nationality.
He challenged the accusers to resign if proved in the court that he just holds Pakistani nationality.
Shahbaz further said whenever the SC summoned him, he would appear before the court.
It should be mentioned that the SC has issued notices to Shahbaz Sharif and opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz in dual national case.
The apex court taking notice of allegations against Shahbaz Sharif by Raja Riaz directed both the leaders to appear before the court on October 17.

We should have a law that requires the lawmakers to spend more time in Pakistan than abroad. Seems to me that these politicians spend more time travelling abroad than they do in Pakistan. Who is paying for these trips? I've been on some and they are lavish. Where do they get the money to pay for these trips? They should have a two week vacation in summer and the rest of the time they should work. We should have an attendence record in the assemblies and if they can't come to work then they don't need to be in the assemblies anyway. Everybody is always on a foreign tour and its starting to P*I*S*S me off. I have to pay for my foreign travel with my hard earned money and these mooches are getting a free ride.
