PAF C-130 departs for Jeddah with 73 on board

A Pakistan Air Force PAF C-130 took off for Jeddah with 73 pilgrims on board from PAF Shahra-e-Faisal Base.
The pilgrims were seen off by Air vice Marshal (AVM) Muhammad Iqbal, and Base Commander Faisal, Jamshed Iqbal. The AVM congratulated the pilgrims on being selected for performing the Pilgrimage. He advised the pilgrims to exhibit discipline during the event and the AVM was confident that the consignment would conduct themselves as good ambassadors of Pakistan. He said that Hajj was a Pan Islamic event and helped shed away xenophobic ideologies. He prayed for the unity of Muslims living in all countries and asked the departing pilgrims to pray for the security and sovereignty of the country, the armed forces and the PAF.
