Big screens at Punjab Stadium

The Sports Board Punjab installed big screens to show the Pakistan and Sri Lanka semi-final match of the World T20 received overwhelming public response with more than 100,000 people gathered at the at the Punjab Stadium to enjoy the Pakistan cricket progress ball by ball.
The SBP on the platform of Punjab Youth Festival provided Lahorites an opportunity to go wild by every moment of the match. It was not only the youth but families, children and even old were present in the stadium to witness the match. The SBP installed nine screens to shown the match and there was high security to keep the crowd in control. Apart from police, there were volunteers of the PYF who managed the arena and kept everything under control and calmed the crowd on the fall of every wicket and hitting of the boundary.
SBP and Youth Affairs, Director General, Usman Anwar provided the platform to the people of Lahore to entertain with every moment of the match and remained vigilant at the venue throughout match. Speaking on the occasion, Usman Anwar said that it was the aim of the Punjab government to fulfill their dream by participating in the Punjab Youth Festival and showing the Pakistan match on the big screen was part of the plan to bring the youngsters on one direction and that was to think as a Pakistani and dare and build the future of their dreams. The stadium gave a look of Pramadasa Stadium Colombo as the match it was the Punjab Stadium where all the activity was being held. There was no one in the stadium who did not cheer on every ball and boundary developed by the Pakistani batsmen.
