Two persons died and three others injured in a head on collision between a truck and passenger van in Nooriabad area on Super Highway on Thursday.
According to police, a passenger van was on it way when an over speeding truck coming from opposite direction collided with it. As a result, two passengers died on the spot and three others sustained injured.
Local people with the help of rescue team shifted the deceased and injured to nearby hospital.
Truck driver and cleaner managed to flee from the scene after the accident.
Police registered a case against the driver and cleaner after collecting evidences from other passengers and eyewitness.
