The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday asked the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to arrest former Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) chairman Tauqir Sadiq by Oct 8.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the case of implementation of the court orders against ex-chairman of OGRA Tauqir Sadiq.
Deputy Prosecutor General NAB told the court that the CCPO Lahore has constituted a team for the arrest of Tauqir Sadiq. The court also asked NAB to submit daily progress report over its action regarding the arrest of Tauqir Sadiq and adjourned the hearing till Oct 10.
