Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Khoro refused to carry additional security personnel as advised by Sindh police in his entourage. The police beefed up security measures for the speaker after he received threats by elements who accuse him of orchestrating passage of Sindh People’s Local Government Ordinance, 2012 in an unconstitutional manner. Refusing to be under the guard of additional men, Khoro expressed confidence that the people of Sindh would not spill the blood of a fellow Sindhi.
