Holy Family Hospital’s MS gets house eviction notice

Due to the lack of action by concerned authorities against the unlawful allotment and occupation of residences in allied hospitals’ colonies, Medical Superintendent (MS) Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) has sent a notice to MS Holy Family Hospital (HFH) to vacate the BBH MS residence within 14 days.
According to the notice, MS HFH Capt (r) Dr Fayyaz has been ordered to vacate the residence specified for MS BBH within 14 days, or else Dr Fayyaz would have to pay 60 percent of his salary as rent.
Sources said that MS HFH, Dr Fayyaz had been allotted the residence while he was serving as an additional MS BBH and has been using the MS residence after being appointed as the MS HFH.
MS BB Hospital, Dr Asif Qadir Mir has been deprived of government residence. MS HFH Dr Fayyaz has illegally occupied the BBH MS residence on the pretext of his daughter, a post graduate trainee at the same hospital.
On the other hand, MS HFH has allotted the residence specified for MS HFH to MS District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi, Dr Sher Ali Khan.
When contacted, MS BB Hospital, Dr Asif confirmed the allotment cancellation notice of the government residence to MS HFH, adding that he had taken notice of a house specified for Grade-19 officers in the Doctors’ Colony of BBH, allotted to a junior officer, Javid Aslam Bhatti, who worked in the office of the Rawalpindi Medical College and Allied Hospital Principal Dr Musadaq Khan.
Dr Asif said that action would also be taken against doctors residing with families in doctor hostels, and added, “No act against the law would be tolerated at any cost”.
