A woman was killed while two children received injuries as a police van hit them at Mohammad Ali (MA) Jinnah Road of the city on Wednesday.
Following the accident, violent protesters torched two police mobiles.
According to details, Wajiha (the victim woman) along with her two children were passing by the road when police van hit them.
The woman was severely wounded in the accident and succumbed to injuries while being taken to a hospital.
The accident sparked violent protest at the road which also caused severe traffic jam for hours.
