‘Waziristan peace march to proceed come what may’

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Information Secretary Shafqat Mahmood on Tuesday said that the Waziristan peace march will proceed as planned, regardless of whether the government permits it or not.
Addressing the reports that local administration of South Waziristan, with the backing of provincial governor of Khyber Pakhthunkhwa has refused to allow PTI to hold a public meeting in Kotai, South Waziristan, he said that the people from FATA have welcome the peace march by PTI and added that he saw no reason why it should not proceed as planned. He further said that the peace march would proceed, with or without permission from the local administration.
The program of the peace march, which leaves from Islamabad on October 6, is as follows:
9:30 am: Start off from Kashmir Highway Near Margalla Motel Islamabad
9:45 am: Reception at Motorway (Islamabad Toll Plaza)
10:30 am: Reception at Balkasar Interchange
11:00 am: Reception at Talagang
12:00 pm: Reception at Rikhi
12:30 pm: Reception at Mianwali
1:00 pm: Reception at Kundian
2:00 pm: Reception at Paharpur
3:00 pm: Reception at DI Khan

7:00 am: Start off from Tank for Kotkai via Jandola and Aspinkai Raghzai Shafqat requested the South Waziristan administration not to create hindrance for a historic march as the world looks on. He said this peace march is designed to protest the barbarity of the drone attacks and express solidarity with the people of FATA.
