Inspector General of Railway Police Syed Ibn-e-Hussain on Tuesday stopped the recruitment process on 557 vacant posts of the department after the Finance Division raised objection over it apparently due to the prevailing monetary position of Pakistan Railways. Accordingly, a notification has been issued to all railway divisions across the country to stop receiving applications for employment in the railway police. Railways Rawalpindi SSP Ulfat Ali said that the officials concerned have been directed to stop processing the applications after the Pindi division received the notification issued by the IG Office Lahore.
