National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved for a decrease of Rs 0.5 per unit of electricity.
According to NEPRA officials, the approval has been made on account of fuel adjustment charges for the month of August.
The consumers of Karachi Electric Supply Company are exempted from the decrease in electricity charges.
It merits mentioning here that the price of electricity has been reduced for the first time in the last two years.
