The federation on Wednesday submitted a reply in response to the Supreme Court’s notice seeking explanation and assistance over a statement allegedly made by Interior Minister Rehman Malik on the issue of dual nationality of lawmakers.
The federation said the statement of Rehman Malik has been quoted out of context.
The Interior Ministry has already denied that statement.
Meanwhile‚ talking to journalists Malik said he does not have any list of those holding dual nationality.
He said this is not his job to provide the list and the court should approach the Election Commission for the purpose.
