Punjab police had a busy day on Sunday, arresting many criminals from different places of the city. Sundar Investigation Police arrested three most wanted criminals named Muhammad Riaz, Sabir and Peerdata from the area of Sundar. Police said that these criminals were involved in many murder cases. In another report, police arrested another most wanted criminal named Shabir from the area of Millat Park. In a raid, Chohng Investigation Police arrested two criminals named Umer and Farman from the area of Chohng, where police said these criminals were involved in many robbery and murder cases. In the area of South Cantt, police stopped a car at a check post and recovered weapons in heavy quantity arresting three criminals named Liaqat, Fayaz and Naveed. Sandha police arrested two gamblers named Babar and Shahzad, recovering Rs 2,56,000 cash, telephones and other valuables from their possession. Also arrested were 5 drug dealers including one woman from Batapur. Police recovered 2 and half kilograms of hashish, weapons and 20 bottles of liquor from them. FIRs against the accused were filed for further investigation in all respective police stations.
