Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) Chief Sarwat Ijaz Qadri has demanded the release of Mumtaz Qadri the assassin of former Punjab governor Salman Taseer.
He was addressing a protest rally organized by several religious outfits against “Innocence of Muslims”.
“Lovers of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) will break into the jail to rescue Mumtaz if the government does not release him”.
Ruit-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufi Muneebur Rehman and
Television host Amir Liqqat Hussain also attended the rally amidst tight security by police and Rangers in the city.
