Nawaz criticizes dual local bodies system in Sindh

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif criticized the new local bodies system in Sindh, saying his party opposes the dual system and stands with the nationalist parties of Sindh regarding the issue.
He also said that his party will continue supporting flood affected people of the province.
Sharif has come on a visit to the rain and flood affected areas of Sindh on Sunday.
While talking with media he said that the government seemed helpless in doing anything to the affected people.
The PML-N chief also supported Baloch Leader Akhtar Mengal’s six-points regarding Balochistan’s betterment. He said that the only solution of the Balochistan issue lies in transparent elections.
Meanwhile addressing the flood victims in Dera Murad Jamali, the PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said that government should make all possible efforts for the rehabilitation of flood affectees.
He announced that Punjab government will give 200,000 rupees to the heirs of those who lost their lives due to floods.
He urged the people to help flood affectees and do not solely rely on government.
Sharif said that PML-N was trying to supply relief items to Balochistan flood-hit areas.
He said the Punjab government and PML-N have sent relief commodities to the Baloch brethren‚ but they could not so far reach the victims because of closure of the roads.
