Punjab Health Secretary released a grant of Rs 3,227,000 for upgrading a tube well and providing a portable water project in Lahore General Hospital. Principal PGMI and LGH Prof Dr Anjum Habib Vohra stated that an 85 horse power turbine that was already installed for the tube well will be converted into 150 horse power. He said that the new tank will have a storage capacity of 100,000 gallons of water and the Communication & Works Department will complete this project on a priority basis.
