The government has decreased the petroleum prices by Rs 6 per litre from October 1st.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had sent a summary to the petroleum and finance ministries and recommended to reduce the prices of petroleum products by Rs 6 per litre which has been approved by the government.
With the implementation of new prices, the price of high speed Diesel (HSD) by 40 paisas, light diesel oil (LDO) by 14 paisas while prices of kerosene oil to decrease by 40 paisas.
To maintain the 60 percent parity between price of petrol and CNG the authority has asked to reduce the price of CNG by Rs 5.70 per kg.
