An officer of the bomb disposal squad was killed and three other officials were injured while defusing a bomb in the outskirts of the provincial capital on Friday morning. According to details, security personnel spotted a bomb on Frontier Road in the Badhabher area, and called in the bomb disposal squad. However, the explosives went off while the officials were busy defusing it. As a result, Inspector Hukam Khan died on the spot, while three others were seriously injured. They were taken to a hospital for treatment.
