District Central Deputy Commissioner, Saif-ur-Rehman has directed the officials concerned to remove the hurdles resulting in non execution of work on the remaining portion of Lyari Expressway Project (LEP).
He was presiding over a meeting of the officials designated on the LEP. The project has been halted for more than a couple of years due to non compliance of property owners to evacuate their properties despite being offered compensation by the authorities. The project was part of the master plan of Mustafa Kamal’s mayor ship to ease the traffic problems in the city.
