The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) has foiled a bid to smuggle 60 heroin-filled capsules to Muscat and have arrested the smuggler.
The ANF sources revealed that Abu Bakar, a resident of Swat, was going to Muscat by a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight. During scanning at the ANF counter, the officials realized that there were capsules in the abdomen of the accused. On inquiry, the accused told the ANF officials that he was smuggling 60 capsules filled with heroin to Muscat.
The ANF took the accused into custody and started investigation into the matter.
