The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has still not repaired the streetlights that were damaged by the demonstrators during the protests against the blasphemous film in different areas of the federal capital
Due to the negligence of the civic authority, police pickets at Faizabad remain in darkness causing difficulties to road users in crossing the barriers.
During protests against the anti-Islam movie in the last few days, especially Youm-e-Ishq-e-Rasul, the enraged demonstrators broke streetlights besides damaging police pickets.
After the passage of about a week, the CDA has not repaired the streetlights, creating problems for the police and citizens alike.
The residents of the federal capital have demanded repairs of the streetlights on priority basis to save them from further inconvenience.
Better to keep the streets dark. Less riots when the savages can't see at night. lol
