Salma Hayek didn’t think it was possible to be in a happy marriage until she said “I do” to French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault on Valentine’s Day of 2009. “I didn’t think marriage worked,” she told More in its October issue cover story. “I thought everybody who was married was secretly miserable – that it was something they just put up with for their children.” The 46-year-old now has a completely different perspective of an union between a husband and a wife. Salma Hayek has revealed that she receives intimate text messages from her husband Francois-Henri Pinault. “Of course, I can show you a text that would surprise you,” the New York Post quoted her as telling More magazine. In the candid interview, the “Here Comes the Boom” actress talks about how her marriage makes her a stronger woman. “My God, you have a partner who’s there with you and for you,” she said. “I really enjoy having somebody that I can be weak with. If I’m insecure or afraid, I can talk about it, and he’ll give me strength and courage,” she added.
