A robbery took place in a Telenor franchise on Thursday, City42 reported.
According to the channel, five robbers pretending to be customers entered the Telenor franchise at Kainchi Stop Kotlahpat, took the workers and customers hostage and escaped with more than Rs 200,000, mobile phones and other valuables. Owner of the franchise Tariq said that this was the second robbery in his shop. After the incident police reached the spot, gathered all the evidences for further investigation.
