More then 70 houses along with one factory were caught stealing electricity on Thursday, City42 reported.
According to the channel, in a crackdown against electricity stealth, LESCO officials raided and caught many houses stealing electricity in different areas of the city.
Report said that many houses were stealing electricity from the main supply line in the area of Shafiqabad, Johar Town, Fasial Town, Shalimar and many other place of the city.
LESCO officials also caught one factory being run on stolen electricity and also arrested the area meter reader, Khalid Shah, who had been helping the factory owners by tempering the meter. LESCO officials recovered the meters and launched the FIR against the accused in the respective police stations.
