Consumers decry late delivery of electricity bills

Residents of the federal capital have deplored the delayed distribution of electricity bills which have caused immense inconvenience and problems to the poor consumers.
Consumers, while talking to agencies, complained that electricity bills bearing a last date of 26th September were delivered a day before the due date.
They said that when contacted Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) officials said that if bills were issued on 16th September then the same should have been distributed within 48 hours so the consumers did not face unnecessary inconvenience in the payment of bills.
They demanded of the authorities concerned to take notice of the late distribution of the utility bills and urged them to ensure the timely delivery of the same in the future.

    There are no Electricity, gas and Water supplies.
