The Sindh High Court on Monday issued stay orders against the culling of sick sheep following a report by a medical commission.
During the hearing, the commission submitted its interim report in the SHC. Prof Rafique Khanani, head of the medical commission, told the court that no indication of anthrax was found in the sheep after examination and chemical tests. Following the report, the court issued stay orders until September 27 and directed that measures be taken to prevent the disease from spreading and affecting the workers taking care of the sheep herd.
