Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khursheed Shah has said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is the pioneer of the constitution and any decision beyond the constitution would not be accepted.
Talking to media persons outside the Supreme Court here on Tuesday, Syed Khursheed Shah said that PPP respects the judiciary and the party’s prime ministers had appeared before the court for five times.
He said the PPP defused a conflict with the apex court after Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf told the court that they would comply with the orders to reopen graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari in Switzerland.
“We have good relations with the Supreme Court, but could not accept any decision against the constitution” Khursheed Shah said.
