Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Nawaz Sharif has said that the PPP government would not be allowed to delay the general election on the pretext of deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan.
In an interview with a private Tv news channel to be aired Tuesday, the former prime minister said either President Asif Ali Zardari should resign or distance himself from the Pakistan People’s Party.
During the interview the PML-N chief said that nobody could eradicate corruption within 30 days, a reference to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.
Mr Sharif also shared his strategy to stabilize country’s economy and said tax rate might be lowered by 10 to 15 percent.
Answering a question regarding riots on Love Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) Day, he said those who resorted to violent protests brought bad name to Pakistan.
Nawaz Sharif also vowed to arrest killers of Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti.
