The Lahore High Court (LHC) has restrained the young doctors from observing protests.
During the course of proceedings, the petitioner’s lawyer stated that young doctors didn’t comply with court orders and resumed their protests. The lawyer requested the court to launch contempt proceedings against the doctors.
Meanwhile, the doctors stated that all hospitals have been functional, adding that the protest was launched since the talks with the Punjab government committee remained dawdling.
The court directed the Punjab government to resolve the issue as soon as possible and adjourned the hearing against the strike till October 5.
