Bullet exchange between rival groups kills woman

A woman died after being caught in crossfire between two rivaling groups on Monday, Pakistan Today has learnt. Per details, a fight between two rival groups in Dogra village of Burki area resulted in four from the Naseer group, including a woman named Rafaqat Bibi, getting injured. Rafaqat however succumbed to her wounds and died in the Services hospital.
Police sources told Pakistan Today that a feud existed between Faqir Mohammed group and Naseer group over some financial issues. Faqir came to Naseer’s house along with some of his friends and opened fire at him. Rafaqat, Naseer’s sister-in-law, was standing outside the house when she was also hit by gun bullets.
Faqir had fled with his cronies by the time the police reached the crime scene. The injured were immediately shifted to hospital where Rafaqat Bibi died. Sources said further that though no case was registered by either party yet and the police was carrying out an investigation independently.
