Seven killed several injured in Karachi incidents

At least seven persons were killed and several others injured in various incidents of firing and a road accident in different localities of the city on Monday.
According to details, unknown armed men opened fire at three persons in Jaffer Tayyar Society of Malir injuring three persons and fled the scene.
The wounded people were rushed to Jinnah Hospital where one identified as Sohaib Raza succumbed to his injuries and two including Mohsin Raza and Hassan Raza were under treatment.
In Sector 5-C/3 of North Karachi, assassins shot dead one person and fled the scene.
Armed men gunned down an unidentified man near Baloch Colony Bridge of the city.
Bullet riddled and tortured dead body of a youth was recovered from Agra Taj, Lyari area of the city. Police said that the youth was kidnapped, tortured and then shot dead and his body was dumped in the said area.
In Garden area of the city unknown gunmen opened fire at vehicle of a member of the Karachi Bar Association (KBA) Farhat Naqvi. He remained safe in the attack while his brother in law Nasir Hussain Rizvi received injuries.
President KBA Association Mehmoodul Hassan condemned the attack and the lawyers boycotted the court proceedings in local courts against the incident.
Thee persons died when an over speeding and reckless driven dumper crushed them while crossing Super Highway near Barack petrol pump.
The bodies of the deceased were shifted to hospital for medico-legal requirements.
Meanwhile, firing incidents were reported in various areas across the city during which several people sustained injuries.
